1862 (10 Apr.) neat envelope to Yorkville, near Toronto, manuscript "Registered Letter" in red ink and numbered "339" bearing 1855-57 1/- green tied by London N duplex and bearing an unusual "northern dist of/islington" c.d.s., a good strike of the small crown/"registered" (W&J 1133) plus the standard-type London registered dated oval code "E", the reverse with further London c.d.s. and Yorkville arrival (25.4). Note that the duplex and registered oval are incomplete as these were struck over the registration tape
