1860 (30 Apr.) stampless wrapper, prepaid in cash to London bearing manuscript "Recommended" with neat strikes of Hamburg Paid despatch c.d.s., handstruck "Chargé" in red, the very scarce London Foreign Branch "hamburg/registered" around crown (A&H 1499) and the standard London registered dated oval (2.5). There are a couple of light folding creases and a rate mark in pencil. A good cover bearing this scarce named registered postmark
