1855 (5 July) blue wrapper from the Danish Ministry of Finance, Copenhagen, marked "KDS" in the lower corner, to Rothschild in London, marked "via Ostende" with a good strikes of the Danish (on reverse) and British postal agencies in Hamburg (8.7), London Foreign Branch large crown "registered" in red and London Paid arrival c.d.s. (10.7); there is a unusual "paid" handstamp in black which has been overstruck by Copenhagen despatch c.d.s.; with complete wax seal of the Danish Ministry of Finance. Horizontal filing crease

The crowned registered handstamp did vary, this is the second type, which is not generally listed, with serifed letters and the crown similar to the St. Edward's crown
