1852 (2 Oct.) blue Brocklehurst entire to Macclesfield bearing 1841 2d. blue, plate 4, DG-DH pair (large to very large margins all round) cancelled by London "21" numerals, marked "Registered" and "6" with Lombard Street Paid Maltese Cross despatch datestamp, the reverse with Macclesfield arrival (3.10) in blue. The letter contained "Enclosed paid notes £75" plus a footnote, "We send your vouchers by railway". A magnificent cover with great appeal
