1847 (25 Nov.) entire letter from Coutts Bank to Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh bearing 2d. light blue, plate 3, DH-DJ strip of three (margins just touching to large) cancelled by London "61" numerals, marked "Registered" and "Pd 1/-" in red ink with London Paid despatch c.d.s., the reverse with Edinburgh arrival (26.11). Three vertical filing creases, one through one of the adhesives. Pays for a letter of up to 3oz.
