1845 (14 June) wrapper to London bearing 1d. deep red-brown strip of four, KG-KJ (almost touching to very large margins) well tied by Scottish "280" numerals, marked "Registered Letter 1/-" in red ink with a fine strike of boxed "paid/at/perth" and London Paid tombstone arrival datestamp (16.6), the reverse with boxed Perth despatch datestamp and Edinburgh transit. Some folding creases, an attractive, heavy-weight cover (up to 2oz.)
