1857 (1 Feb.) entire letter to Augustine Heard & Co, Canton "Via Marseilles" from Henry Hallet in Boston bearing New York Br. Pkt c.d.s. (26.11), straight-line "paid" and rated "43" and "28" with London transit (9.12) and, on the flap, the Hong Kong transit c.d.s. (1.2). The manuscript notation shows that this was delivered to Augustine Heard on 1st February, thus to their Hong Kong office. There is a light horizontal filing crease, fresh and fine.
