1880 (24 Dec.) envelope to the Cashier Island Treasury, Kingston, handstamped "abm n. crosswell, port-au-prince" on flap and forwarded by the same company, possibly privately, to Jamaica, put into the post there and registered at Port Royal, bearing 2d. rose (2) each cancelled "A67" and showing oval-framed "jamaica/registered" datestamp at left, large manuscript ""8" additionally tying the adhesives and suggesting that the item may have been compulsorily registered as addressed to the Treasury and possibly having contained money.
