Jamaica Commercial Exchange wrapper (198x88mm.) from Kingston to London, bearing ½d. claret pair and wing-margin 2d. rose (defective) each cancelled "A01" and showing despatch datestamp, framed "jamaica/ship mail" SL9 datestamp (2.12, the latest date recorded), "1½" PD9 accountancy handstamp and "paid/liverpool/ship" tombstone datestamp (1.2). A scarce and most unusual franking of the 3d. ship letter rate with the SL9 and PD9 markings only being known struck together. Photo
