1859 (11 Jan.) entire letter headed "Rio Magno, Gayle P.O." to Kingston, marked "Paid 4" in red ink and bearing 4d. rose-carmine (light filing crease at left) cancelled in manuscript with large X" and two horizontal lines, "gayle/jamaica P8 datestamp at left with "1" added to day and "1858" year date error, arrival datestamp (12.1.59) on reverse. An exceptional manuscript cancellation being very rare and with this cover almost certainly unique. A quality exhibition cover. Photo
