1859 (20 Dec.) entire to Alexandria Post Office, bearing 1d. rose-red strip of four each cancelled "A39" and paying the inland rate for carriage up to 60 miles, P10b datestamp alongside, indistinct Kingston datestamp towards foot, Dry Harbour P8 (dates inverted) and arrival P2a (datelines transposed) datestamps on reverse. Foster records two such frankings from Falmouth. Photo
