Type T4 in a Single Line
1827 (2 July) entire letter, headed "Westmoreland", via Kingston "p. Packet" to Scotland, rated 2/6d. for a treble letter travelling over 100 miles though only double to the UK charged 2/6d. inward Packet Letter plus 2/4d. inland postage from Falmouth to Edinburgh, Falmouth Additional "½" handstamp in green and showing, on reverse across join, superb "montego bay", "jamaica" F6 (5.7) and London (3.9) datestamps. Proud PS5 and two days earlier than recorded by him
