Type T2 in a Single Line
1792 (27 June) entire letter headed "St. Anns" to Kingston by the Northside Road to Green Island and then via London and Edinburgh to Aberdeen, rated "7½" Currency for a single rate letter carried between 61 and 100 miles and "1/7" charged on arrival, comprising 1/- Packet letter plus 7d. inland postage from London to Edinburgh and a further 5d. from Edinburgh to Aberdeen, showing on reverse, faint almost albino "st. anns" alongside 5th. Type "iamaica" and London arrival datestamp (21.8). Proud PS2 and the sole recorded example. Photo
