1705 (11 Aug.) "p Qun Ann Packett Boat. Capt. Massy. Q.D.C.", Clarke & Parker to John and Thomas Eyre, merchants in London, rated "1N6" and showing, on reverse, "oc/1" Bishop mark; front and interior pages separated and with a central vertical crease though a lovely clean letter sent on this famous service. Note: The "Queen Ann" made only the one successful round trip on behalf of the Dummer Packet Service. Whilst on the 2nd. voyage on 25 February 1706 she was captured by a French privateer
