1843 (15 Dec.) complete wrapper from New York to London and redirected to Cheltenham, showing 'new york /dec/15' c.d.s. and 'paid' handstamps in red; rated 2/4d., deleted, and subsequently franked with 1841 1d. red (just touching on both vertical sides) tied by superb number "7" in Maltese Cross, with Cheltenham d.s. on reverse. Generally fine with flattened folds opening well for display
