Note: Capt. Cramer served with the regiment for the duration of the campaign including the advance to and relief of Eshowe. He was present at the battle of Gingindhlovu.,Crealock's advance to Port Durnford and at the second advance to Ulundi. He commanded to companies which acted as escort and guard the Zulu King from the Black Umfolozi to Ulundi.
