1896 (23 Sept.) envelope registered to Birmingham, bearing 1894 ½d. and 6d., both tied by "eshowe/zululand" double-ring d.s., showing blue crayon registration marking with, on reverse, Durban (2?.9) and arrival (17.10) datestamps; both adhesives crossed by light crease and the envelope with part of flap missing. A scarce commercial usage. Photo
