1959-62 3d. black and blue, variety printed on the gummed side, the unique example used on piece of an envelope with glue at the Fort Jameson Post Office and tied by "fort jameson/n. rhodesia" double-ring datestamp for 31st July 1963; a visually striking exhibition piece. PFSA Certificate (1979) and accompanied by a typed letter from the District Postmaster at Fort Jameson. S.G. 22b unpriced used. Photo

Note: The letter from the Postmaster says in part: "..It would appear that most were sold over the counter on 30th/31st July 1963, when Africans complained about the poor quality of the gum on the stamps and the counter clerks stuck them on with Post Office glue, to my knowledge only one used copy on piece has turned up.."
