1923 (17 May) envelope registered from Windhoek addressed locally, bearing 2d. dull purple marginal block of four from the left of the sheet, variety overprint inverted, neatly cancelled with light double-ring datestamp, registration handstamp at lower left corner; two vertical creases clear of the margin and the block with a couple of short perfs. at foot, nevertheless a very rare multiple of this variety, particularly on cover.
