1959 (2 June) unfranked envelope from Wankie to Salisbury, showing machine datestamp alongside manuscript "T5d" and bearing 3d. violet vertical pair and 1/- deep blue each cancelled with neat arrival datestamp (8.6), a further arrival datestamp (5.6) on reverse; a most unusual franking showing the Post Office combining the tax payable on a number of covers onto the one cover.
