1958 and 1959 envelopes ex the same correspondence to S. Smith at Salisbury, the first from Windhoek bearing 2d. with circular-framed "20/to pay" completed for "2d" and with ½d. block of four affixed over the original franking as the Postage Due, the second from Johannesburg bearing Gnu 1d. with machine datestamp and two "9d" tax handstamps, one left as struck, the other with the "9" over-cancelled with manuscript "6" and bearing 6d. applied as the Postage Due
