1785 (4 June) entire letter to "Air", Scotland variously rated, eventually at "1/4" and carried by private ship showing, on reverse, a very fine strike of the circular-framed "grenada/Crown" handstamp and, across join, Bishop mark, the face panel with "exeter/ship lre" handstamp just touched by filing crease at left; particularly fine and the earliest recorded day of use of this handstamp.
