1872 (15 July) envelope to New Orleans, bearing 1d. blue vertical strip of three and a single (defective corner) each cancelled "A06" and with Belize datestamp below, "jamaica/transit" handstamp at right over-cancelled by "n y steamship/10" transit datestamp (25.7), the reverse with Kingston, Jamaica transit c.d.s. (20.7). A very rare and attractive franking with only a handful of first issue covers recorded. A highly important exhibition cover. Photo
