1858 (11 Nov.) envelope from Bridgetown to London, bearing 1858 (10 Nov.) 6d. rose-red with large margins all round and twice cancelled "1", arrival datestamp (2.12) alongside, despatch datestamp on reverse; the earliest known use of the 6d. adhesive either the day of issue or the day after.
