1853 (Dec.) entire registered to Sydney, bearing 1851-52 Laureated 1d. vertical pair on blue wove paper (cut-into at top) and 6d. Pl. II re-engraved, both cancelled by unclear barred oval, showing "registered/mudgee" h.s. at left and, on reverse, "mudgee/n.s.w." and arrival datestamps; the entire has been expertly repaired along the vertical folds though still of fine appearance. A rare usage of the re-engraved 6d. on cover, particularly pre-paying the registration fee. Very few recorded. Photo
