1896 (8 June Anley correspondence envelope (flap faults), with contents, to his mother in London, marked "Active Service. No Stamps" and showing weak Wadi Halfa Camp datestamp, framed "t" handstamp and superb "2½d/f.b./c." handstamp. Also 1896 (20 June) envelope (opened-out) to London, marked "Active Service. No stamps obtainable. Firka", showing Wadi Halfa Camp datestamp, framed "t" and "2½d/f.b./a," handstamp; a couple of small edge faults, otherwise fine and written shortly after the Battle of Firket.
