A range selected for fine and attractive cancellations, seven examples of each value and including 1d. used in Salisbury on day of issue, Essexvale, Headlands and Mount Darwin datestamps; 2½d. "e" in diamond of bars, Gwanda, Marandallas and Melsetter datestamps; 5d. "e" in diamond of bars, Rusape, Sebakwe and Wankies ("bird in tree" flaw) datestamps; 1/- "d" in diamond of bars, Battlefields and Selukwe datestamps; 2/6d. "d" in diamond of bars, Gwelo, Kopje Salisbury and Sebakwe datestamps, and 5/- "d" in diamond of bars, Sebakwe and Selukwe datestamps and part Bulawayo Registered handstamp in red; generally good to fine or superb large part or complete strikes and a most attractive group that would form a good basis for further expansion.
