1873 (5 June) large part piece during the French blockade from Oxford to Antananarivo bearing G.B. 6d., 1/- pair and Mauritius 1/- applied on arrival over 'pd' handstamp to pay postage due. Also 1882 French Occupation period envelope (tears) from Dewsbury to Tamatave bearing 1d. and 3d., rerouted via Mauritius with Mauritius backstamp. A scarce pair
