(Type 5), 1837 (19 Oct.) internal entire letter from St. Pierre to Fort Royal showing manuscript "35" and "st. pierre/martinique" double-ring d.s., 1841 envelope to Le Havre, charged "2" (decimes), showing rare straight-line "martinique" h.s. (Jamet Type 15, only known used in 1841) and light "outre-mer/le havre" double-ring d.s. in red, 1844 (29 Oct.) entire letter from Fort Royal to Cognac charged "25" (decimes) and showing St. Pierre c.d.s., framed "colonies/&c.art.12" in red and Calais entry d.s., and 1852 (Aug.) entire from St. Pierre to Bordeaux showing framed "colonies/&c.art.13" in red, Calais entry d.s. and, on reverse, despatch, London, Paris and arrival datestamps.
