BA-BL in a horizontal maximum strip of twelve, with margins all round, generally good to very large but cut very close at the foot of BG-BI, cancelled and tied by orange-red Maltese Cross applied to each stamp on 1840 (1 Nov.) large envelope from Stone to a barrister in Grays Inn Square in London. The reverse with open top Stone despatch c.d.s. in black and London arrival (2.11) in red.
