1873 (10 Oct.) double rate blue envelope (213x88mm.) from Cape Town "per Windsor Castle" to London, bearing 4d. blue pair neatly cancelled with "1" duplex and showing rare "4d" accountancy handstamp and London Paid (3.11), both in red; two creases clear of the accountancy handstamp. The Windsor Castle was lost on the Dartmouth-Cape Town run off Dassen Island on 19 October 1876
