(Pick unrecorded, Banknote Book unrecorded, Dabbah p.383), in PMG holder 64 EPQ Choice Uncirculated. Manusript printers annotation low margin '1+2' in low right margin. This is the Dabbah plate note. This £1 a unique 'approval proof' printed on large format paper. Unique in this uniface format. There are in total six examples of different varieties for the £1 issue of 1943.
