George IV (1820-1830), Halfcrown, 1823, laureate head left, rev. crowned shield in Garter and Collar, edge milled, 14.17g, 7h (Bull 2365; ESC 634; Spink 3808), a striking defect at 8 o'clock and the odd scuff marks, otherwise light grey tone overlying lustrous and quite brilliant mint surfaces, good extremely fine
