George II (1727-1760), Halfcrown, 1741 over 39 DECIMO QVARTO, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, 15.07g, 7h (Bull 1682; ESC 601A; Adams 545; Spink 3693), a truly sublime example with only the faintest trace of die wear to highest points and a small die break through O of GEORGIVS, otherwise delightfully toned and handsomely balanced, much as struck, rare thus
