The L'Abbaye Collection | George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1723, first bust, larger lettering on obverse, rev. no colon between A TH, six strings to harp, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 5.88g, 6h (Bull 1584; ESC 1175; Pywell-Phillips -; Spink 3645), fine or marginally better, nonetheless the seldom encountered variety for date, especially with the first portrait, very rare thus
