The L'Abbaye Collection | George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1715, first bust, stop after D G, rev. eight strings to harp, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 6.03g, 5h (Bull 1560; ESC 1162; Pywell-Phillips 267; Spink 3645), brighter surfaces with flecking and contact marks under magnification, otherwise a handsome and balanced striking further accentuated by neon blue toning to further peripheries, a really bold very fine, rare, especially in this condition
