Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Second Issue, Shilling, 1 December 1560 - 24 October 1561, Tower, bust 3A, reads ANG, FR, HIB, rev. and MEV', narrow shield, 5.55g, 12h, m.m. cross crosslet [the obverse privy mark derived from a Groat punch] (BCW CC-3C/CC-c1 [Leaf 5, Shield 9]; North 1985; Spink 2555), small split to flan and tarnishing to periphery, a tad scruffy, otherwise a bolder fine, an interesting muling of Groat and Shilling privy mark punches
