W. H. Rollins served during the Second Boer War with the 7th Dragoon Guards, leaving for South Africa on 8 February 1900. He is confirmed on the 7th Dragoon Guards medal roll with the rank of Private. Embarked from South Africa for England on 1 October 1902; sold together with copied medal rolls for the Queens South Africa and Kings South Africa medals.
