Great Britain: Altrincham Gas Company, one share, 1846, #12, black, yellow seal, together with another of similar design, 18[55], #1233, black, embossed seal. Formed in 1846 to supply gas to Altrincham and surrounding area, works being built at Moss Lane and opened a year later. Incorporated by Act of Parliament in 1872. Nationalised in 1949 and vested in North West Coal Board. Both EF (2).
