Great Britain: Cinema-Television Limited, 6d deferred shares, 19[42], #8187, scrollwork at left, black on pink paper. Baird Television was formed in 1927 and a controlling interest was obtained by cinema operator Isidore Ostrer. A separate company, above, was formed in 1940 to continue his work with live broadcasts at his cinemas. Became part of the Rank group and renamed Rank Cintel Ltd. in 1958. Changed hands several times to become Cintel International PLC. GVF and rare.
