Great Britain: Enfield Cycle Co. Ltd., £1 'B' preference shares, 19[28], #109, black on blue paper, red seal, punch perforated cancelled. Registered 1896 as New Enfield Cycle Co. Ltd., name changed in 1897. This famous company manufactured, at their Enfield Works, Redditch, cycles from 1896, motor cycles under the name 'Royal Enfield' between 1898 and 1971 and De Dion-Bouton engined motor cars between 1902 and 1906 (Their autocar works were sold to the Enfield Autocar Company in this year). VF and rare.
