Great Britain: Cycle Manufacturers Tube Co. Ltd., £1 shares, 18[96], #874, scrollwork at left, blue-grey; together with Coventry Tube & Metal Co. Ltd., £1 shares, 19[00], #1196, brown. Both signed by Sir Edward Sullivan, 2nd baronet, 1852 - 1928. The first was promoted by the notorious promoter Ernest Terah Hooley who became bankrupt in 1898 and the second was a succesful attempt at saving the company by reconstructing it with just 25% of the original capital. Both VF (2).
