Great Britain: Cowey Automobile Suspension Company Limited, £1 shares, 19[09], #70, scrollwork at left, black. The invention, by Leonard Cowey, used solid tyres with the body of the car suspended by 4 pneumatic tubes which apparently gave a very pleasant ride. As we know this was superceded by both pneumatic tyres and shock absorbers! VF and rare.
