Great Britain.France: Cosmopolitan Cycle and Motor Works, Limited, £10/250 franc debenture, 18[98], #310, ornate border, green, text in English and French, with coupons. Registered in September 1897 to acquire a company at St.Nicolas D'Abemont, and a cycle business at St. Cloud, France. The sale was handled by the Anglo-French Pneumatic Compensation Company and shareholders were offered shares in this new venture. Failed in 1898, the French property having lost most of its value. If anything was actually produced we don't know. More research is needed. AEF and scarce.
