Great Britain: Commercial Cars Ltd., 10% Second Debentures, 19[21], for £10, #108 and £100, #93, black, 4 pages. This Luton based commercial vehicle manufacturer, originally registered in 1905 to produce Commer vans, buses and lorries, was sold in 1921 to Commer Cars Ltd., a subsidiary of Humber which had purchased all the shares. Humber became part of the Rootes Group in 1931 and the Commer name was continued until 1975. VF (2).
