Nyasaland: British Central Africa Co. Ltd., 10/- shares, 19[24], #1967, green, pink underprint, coat of arms in centre. Registered in 1902 and liquidated in 1924. One of the largest trading and transport companies operating in the colony. Acquired the concession granted to the Shire Highlands Railway for the railway extension from Chindio to Lake Nyassa. Red ink cross through middle as cancellation, VF and rare.
