Nyasaland: British Central Africa Co. Ltd., £1 shares, a specimen certificate from the Bradbury Wilkinson archive, dated 1902, coat of arms in centre, ornate border, black and pink, with counterfoil, perforated specimen, with counterfoil. Registered in 1902 and liquidated in 1924. One of the largest trading and transport companies operating in the colony. Acquired the concession granted to the Shire Highlands Railway for the railway extension from Chindio to Lake Nyassa. EF and rare.
