Huntington and signed by him on the reverse, steam train in centre, brown and black, cancelled, stub reattached at left. Collis P. Huntington, 1821 - 1900, one of the big four of western railroads was a major investor in the Central Pacific Railroad and other interstate lines such as the Southern Pacific and Chesapeake & Ohio. HIs art collection was left to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and he made many other bequests during his lifetime. VF.
