Mellon, signed by William Larimer Mellon as President, female head and shoulders at top, green and black, hole cancelled. William Larimer Mellon (1868-1949) was the founder of Gulf Oil and for more than 40 years its chairman. Gulf became one of the chief instruments of the Mellon family fortune. Richard B. was brother to Andrew W. and took over as President of the Mellon Bank when Andrew was appointed as Treasury Secretary. GVF.
