Great Britain: Channel Islands Telegraph Company Limited, one share, 1858, #684, blue, printed by Perkins, Bacon & Co. London. Formed in 1857 as a subsidiary of the Electric Telegraph Company to connect Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney to the mainland. Maintenance was a continual problem so parts were abandoned in 1860. The whole telegraph industry was nationalised by the British Government in 1870. VF-EF and rare.
